On your phone. Open the Settings app. In the search bar, type "App permissions" and tap the result. Look for your microphone permissions and make sure they're turned on for Waze. Note: Steps may vary per device.

GPS not functioning properly when using Waze Waze is showing 'No GPS' signal. I tried restarting location settings, the phone, reinstalling Waze, logging out but nothing seems to be working. Ford F150. According to Waze, this is a known problem with GPS with Ford Sync 3. In some cars/applications, it manifests itself as an inaccuracy to both GPS position and actual speed derived from change in GPS position of the Ford Sync module. In others, it just shows up as an actual speed inaccuracy.
No voice guidance in Maps Recently I stopped getting voice navigation prompts in Apple Maps app. I'm getting voice guidance in Waze--but not Maps. I can't find a place to turn this on or off, beyond three settings under Settings / Maps: "Directions Paus Podcasts" "Directions Wake Device" "Directions on Radio" All three of these are currently On, but maps is silent, on the phone and in CarPlay.
It does not have heated front windshield. It works in other cars but lags on Google maps and can't find GPS on Waze in this car. Says it is estimating location. I'm using Sprint and have had multiple cars with their tech personnel. I've deleted and reloaded the apps, rebooted phone, etc., etc.
My iPad Pro gen 3 software 14.7.1 stopped GPS positioning whilst outside network range at sea whilst using navionics app. When back in at home on WIFI network, the GPS location became the nominated point for the service providers interpretation based on my home WIFI address All the suggested fixes have been tried many times to no effect. The MUCH older iPad continues to work accurately.
You don't have to do anything. Waze uses the information it collects to calculate average speed, check for errors, improve road layout and learn road and turn direction. There's no need to make special trips with Waze. In fact, Waze works best on your regular trips and commuting. The maps and navigation are powered by users.

The gps doesn't work half the time on the s23 ultra unlocked version, it is the most annoying thing ever when you need directions at busy intersection and have to pull over to restart the phone , it's so embarrassing having a brand new phone not work the way it should after spending all the money I did, I really hope samsung does something with it or sadly I have to switch to apple
